There are heaps of meditations about, some passive, some really physical. Whats your favourite and why?

My favorite form of meditation is gardening. I get in to a fabulously contented space where everything else falls away and my hands connect with the earth and everything feels good. Maybe not the usual form of meditating, but I say "whatever works!"

I love to walk along the coast, see the trees and the ocean and listen to the sounds of nature. I enjoy the guided meditations of the Brahma Kumaris http://www.bkwsu.org/au and the concept of JUST a MINUTE where you stop for a minute and breathe and gives thanks for the good things in your life

I love to dance, even if it is just swaying to some nice gentle music or head bang to he more hard rock tracks, it sort of unlocks the worries of the day and I get into my own space. I also love to walk, especially early morning, when the fog is rising and the birds are just starting to talk to the sun.
